โš–๏ธ Logical Conditions

In Salesmachine, understanding logical conditions are key. You will rely on its mechanisms to define lifecycle & health scores, create segments, operate automations, trigger alerts, etc.

Understand the AND or OR logic

Every time you'll need to create conditions, two options are available:

Match any condition

To be pulled your account/contact will have to match at least one of the selected conditions.

Match all condition

To be pulled your account/contact will have to match all conditions.

Example: Following the two screenshots above: A company has a subscription plan = 'grow' and subscription ='inactive'. In the 'match any condition' scenario the company will be pulled (cf the first screenshot) but in the 'match all condition' scenario the company will not be pulled (cf the second screenshot).

What if I need to use both AND & OR in the same request?

This starts to be a bit tricky & feel free to contact your dedicated Customer Success if you need any help. To benefit from AND & OR conditions in the same request, you can use the character pipe '|' in order to add a 'OR' condition inside 'match all conditions', such as:

Example: Here, the company needs to have either Grow or Starter as a subscription plan AND either Active or Past_due as a subscription state to be pulled.

Condition in Salesmachine are strict

Note that Salesmachine request uses strict conditions, such as:

Here, an account that performed 4 daily_session in the last week will not be pulled (but 5 will).
